Widely used as a straight edge and squaring tool. No. 45-500C has accurate 45° ends for mitering work. One leg is 24" x 2", and the other is 16" x 1-1/3". Both legs have 1/3 inch graduations on the face and back. Has a natural steel lacquered finish, and the numbers and graduations are permanently impressed. Kneeling on one leg of the square helps prevent movement during cutting.
