For metal and wood mouldings. Has precision located slots for accurate 45° and 90° cuts, and 3/16" thick case hardened sidewalls maintain this accuracy.

Economy version of the No. 201 Miter Box, this tool also has 3/16" thick case hardened sidewalls for long accurate life, and the slots are located with the same precision. The base, however, is 3/4" thick hardwood instead of steel, and no clamping device is supplied.

This tool is helpful for making fast 45° cuts in quarter round. The sharp, heavy-duty blade is replaceable.

For 1/16" cap strip only as the punch is made from thinner material, letting it enter narrower channels such as used on plastic laminate installations.

For 3/32" and larger cap strip as the front tip of the full thickness punch has been cut away to allow general mitering of channel and cap strip mouldings.

90° Die Set - For all simple mitering, notching and trimming.

Metal Mitre tools make 90° triangular cuts in aluminum cap metals, allowing you to create corners without a miter box. Used with the Nos. M900, M900GS and M900GSS Die Sets which are sold separately.
