I have used the old style screw type wood puller and was happy with it, until I borrowed one of these. This is faster to use there is no cranking to the right position it just push and pull. The release is very simple as well just push it all the way forward! Slide it over and your right at it again. The double ratcheting gears make sure it will hold until you can nail the wood into position! Well worth the money.
