This underlayment was easy to install, cuts easily with scissors, and lays flat and straight. The 8" overlap seam provided works pretty well, just rip off the tape and overlap with the old row to tie rows together. Once installed with flooring, it seems to do what it should, provide some cushioning and prevent noise. The only thing I question is long term performance given it uses tiny bits of styrofoam sandwiched between two plastic sheets, and I'm unsure how well the styrofoam bits will hold up. But so far, so good!
