KBRS 5 ft. Tileable Hard Curb

The KBRS HardCurb is 100% waterproof and ready to tile. It features a 1/2" PVCore top layer that is engineered to hold the anchoring systems needed for the mounting hardware for glass shower enclosures. Measures 4" x 4" x 61" and can be cut-to-fit to any length.

How to Install a KBRS HardCurb

1. Dry fit the HardCurb to the ShowerSlope
2. Cut-to-fit the HardCurb if needed
3. Level HardCurb
4. Apply modified thin-set to desired HardCurb installation area
5. Apply a generous bead of polyurethane sealant (or 100% silicone sealant) to the outer edge of the slope (where the curb will "butt-up" against the slope)
6. Apply modified thin-set to the bottom of the HardCurb
7. Firmly press the curb into place
8. Walk on curb to ensure it has fully embedded into the thin-set - then you are ready to apply modified thin-set and tile (or surface) as desired
