These Universal Side Shims are designed to match the 3/8" Carpet Shims, in the 8" x 32" size and taper (transition) to the right and left of the Carpet Shim. They can also be used for outside corners.

Sold per box of 12 shims.

Details

Universal Side Shims are used in conjunction with Carpet Shims to COMPLETE THE TRANSITION! They are made of the same high quality material as Carpet Shims, so they are also water resistant and, when necessary, they can be scored with a carpet knife and snapped to fit any area required.

They have a compound taper that finishes the transition, eliminating any need for floating the ends.

Universal Side Shims are designed to match the 1/2" and the 3/8" Carpet Shims, in both the 8" x 32" and the 12" x 48" sizes and taper (transition) to the right and left of the Carpet Shim. They can also be used for outside corners.
