Good,but..
I have been using these about 6 years. I buy about two sets a year, sometimes three. My main issue is I have skinny legs and the straps stick out and have too little velcro left to hold well. But...they are super comfortable, and do not weigh you down when getting up and going back down to the floor. I even wear them while kicking a knee kicker. I have never tried pro knees or the other expensive sets, and I'm considering them..but I doubt they will be as comfortable or as all around useful as these for my diverse flooring needs. I just wish they had a pair for skinny legs.

excellent
i decided to wear knee pads when i first started flooring so when i got older i wouldn't have to. well forty years later and still kicking these knee pads are the most comfortable i've ever owned. they are more durable than they look but like all pads they do wear out. i just purchased my second pair.

The BEST non-pinching knee pads ever!
My husband has been doing floor covering for over 28 years and when it comes to knee pads, feels he has tried them all. He called me this morning to let me know that these Crain knee pads are "THE BEST" he's ever owned/worn. The biggest prop he could give is that this is the first pair he's ever worn that do not "pinch" his skin. He loves them! He says they are a little hot to wear because they cover more area of his leg, but that's nothing compared to the comfort his knees and legs feel when wearing these! He also loves that you can remove the pad itself to wash the outer layer! Great product!

Best knee pad for carpet installers or hard surfaces installers
I've been using this kneepad for years and years. You can leave it on all day to protect your knees. The only drawback is that it will get tattered using it to nail tack strip on bare concrete or wood floors. You would need a separate knee pad for that.
