Great tool
I purchased this for a re-grout job in a big restaurant with 9x18 slate with grout lines running 1/4 to 3/4 inch wide. The original grout job was 20 plus years old and the grout material was either a mortar mix or plain sand mix , not your typical bagged grout material. I used Rapid Set Mortar . This stuff is really tough on the skin and I had to wear rubber gloves or face major skin damage. Once this was in use I could work without gloves and more than twice as fast. I have yet to use it with normal tile and grout so I can't address the issue of being able to wring out enough water in the sponge but with the sponges I was originally using and wringing by hand , it took 3 or more passes to sufficiently remove the haze. With the Raimondi it was one circular pass to tool the grout ( the lippage on this floor is off the charts) and only one pass to leave the slate haze free. For the $60.00 or so I can't imagine that anyone would regret the purchase of one of these. I do wish I had purchased the one that uses the plastic liners. Disposal of the sediment at the end of the work day is a problem and you can't pour it into a drain without risk of clogging the pipe. I had to spill out the water carefully into a drain until the solids started to pour out and then pour the slop into a plastic bag to put into the garbage. As for the guy who had issues with the roller popping off I wonder if he was missing the wire part that ties the two sides of the plastic bucket together to prevent them from spreading apart.

great idea, speed me up, sponges need improvement
I am glad I bought this. Usually quick response on shipping was a little slow this time. But I love the typical service I get when ever I call or need something. The bucket seems pretty well designed as a whole. No issues with tipping. I do wonder is having slots on rollers like 2 other buckets do would be better or worse? The sponge attachment is very secure to the handle and I like the idea better than velcro or glue or whatever other systems use. Though this is my first system to try. The biggest down fall is the actual sponge material. Not matter how hard I try it is difficult to get all the water wrung out. I feel the sponge is still too wet. I have several different regular grout sponges and some brands are easy to wring out and some impossible. This borders on close to impossible. I like my sponge to not leave any water behind on the grout. If that issue would be addressed I would give this model 5 stars. I am available for feedback @ gdelapp at live dot com. If anyone has suggestions on a better sponge to go with this bucket I would love to hear from you. Please.

GREAT
Cut our grout cleaning time in half. Glad I tried the Skipper Wash Bucket. Easily paid for itself the first job we used it on.

Great
We've had two of these wash buckets for well over 6 months now. Granted we treat them more gently than say a steel hammer they still get loaded on and off the truck and used. we bring them to every job and they work wonders on sanded grout. we fill both of them up and make one pass without changing the water in say a 400sq/ft kitchen/dining room and it leaves the floor haze free with only one wipe. nothing has broken on these babies so far. I would recommend these to any installer looking to cut there grouting time and effort. also highly recommend the cut sponges option, they work really well.
