Pads are great, straps are horrible
These knee pads would be great with better straps. The pads themselves are very comfortable and distribute pressure decently. The straps however are horrible. 1st off the straps are twice as long as they need to be. I don't know who has a 14 inch diameter calf but I definitely don't. So when you wrap the strap around your leg, to get then tight enough so they stay put, your only attaching an inch of velcro and the rest is overlap. So it doesn't hold very well. And let's just say velcro is the worst type of strap you can have for flooring knee pads and you think this company would know that. After your first carpet tearout every little carpet fiber is stuck in your velcro strap and now the other half of the strap won't stick to it. So you have to spend an hour cleaning it just so you can get that vital 1 inch of velcro to stick so they stay on. Do yourself a favor and just get the pro knees, I sure wish I did. At least until traxx makes smaller velcro straps or does away with the velcro completely.

nice pads
i have done floors for 31 years. never wore knee pads until this year. these are very comfortable, i tried other brands as well. straps stay put for the most part. they do slide a little when sweating. hardest part for me was adapting to wearing pads. hope my small comments help you folks. either way. these work for me

Best money I’ve spent
I’ve always used cheap knee pads and I decided to spend money on a nice pair since I plan on doing flooring for a while. And I gotta say this are hands down the best pads you can get. I didn’t want pro knees because I don’t like how heavy and bulky they are. This Traxx pads and very light weight, have very comfortable spraps and offers great shin support so you don’t have to have your toes curled constantly. I can really tell they are saving my knees, I don’t limp at the end of a long day anymore like I use to with the cheap knee pads.

Better than proknees
I bought these knee pads 6 months ago. I have used proknees for years. Now proknees are nice they are great for setting tile, however they are heavy and balky. I install vinyl plank 99% of the time and so I am moving and getting up for cuts. These new traxx knee pads are amazing and better than proknees. They are light, comfortable, and durable. They shift and move a little bit but not to bad. The straps don't rub on the back of the knee. They are the best knees pads I have ever used.
