This upgraded stretcher tube works with almost any power stretcher to allow for quick lever-activated adjustments on fly!
This upgraded lever-activated extension tube lets you make quick adjustments on the fly while stretching carpet! Simply raise the top hand lever to unlock for fast extension or retraction of the tail. The bottom floor lever will unlock when the stretcher head is raised, allowing you to easily extend or retract the head. The No. 520 is designed to work with almost any power stretcher with standard sized poles (1-3/4" inside diameter).

Crain is better than Roberts
Not bad, I prefer the other one though so I use that instead. Just a preference, still better than roberts

Excellent tool
This is a huge timesaver and overall awesome tool! Instead of pressing the two buttons it’s just a simple lift of the handle. Very smooth and easy to adjust. I will use this over the two button ratchet poles all day long!

Don't like it
Too much effort to use this vs the original autolok tube. More work on the shoulders, when you’re getting your stretcher in place and you’re about to stretch this thing clicks back like 4 inches which is annoying and adds a lot more time to the job and so you end up pulling and pushing it more often than you should. To me, the original was way easier, lighter and better and this one just has too many moving parts, maybe if you’re just starting out and have never used a stretcher it would be easier for someone who has nothing to compare it too but I definitely prefer the other one.
