This handle assembly is for use with interchangeable miter mitre die sets to make radius bends and sharp corners in various aluminum cap metals. Accepts the Nos. 846, 848 and 850 die sets.

This handle assembly is for use with interchangeable miter mitre die sets to make radius bends and sharp corners in various aluminum cap metals. These time-saving tools are perfect for use in the shop or on the jobsite.

This handle accepts the following die sets:

  • No. 846 for carpet/wall board cap (.135" thick punch)
  • No. 848 for vinyl/carpet cap with at least 3/32" opening (.090" thick punch)
  • No. 850 for vinyl/laminate cap with at least 1/16" opening (.050" thick punch)

great cap and cove tool
This is a great tool and is the only way to cut aluminum cap for Formica. I tried about 10 different ways to cut the cap and every way scratch or damaged the cap in some way. This tool seems to be the only way to cut the cap cleanly and perfectly. Tools for flooring has the best price. But I gave it a 3 on price because it is an expensive tool to do a simple task. But I like the retro look for the formica back splash. With this tool I can do it myself. Paying someone to do this job would have cost a lot more.

Tools4Flooring was easy to order from and the order was shipped promptly and arrived well packaged and in tacked. I would order from tools4flooring again.
