This Mozart Skiving Knife is used for trimming heat weld rod flush at the seams and has a replaceable sharp razor blade. Eliminates difficult resharpening of traditional quarter moon knives. Cuts in two passes with the built-in trim guide. Take the first pass with the guide under the blade, then pivot it out from under on the second pass. The flexible blade and trim guide won't gouge high spots.

highly suggested tool

I am a union floor coverer (local 1238). my foreman brought this tool along for a job we had in eastern washington. after having used traditional quarter moon knives, i can heavily suggest any floor installer, get this tool. it is ideal for quality installation of sheet vinyl that has to be welded.
