Crain 968 Floor Following Power Groover

This power groover tracks in the seamline to cut a trapezoidal groove for welding. It automatically adjusts to acoomodate up to 1/8" of variation over one foot of seamline, allowing you to maintain a consistent grooving depth on uneven floors. The floor following wheel rides along the floor and will raise or lower the blade in response to variations. The No. 968 also features a spring-loaded floor followig dust shroud for improved dust control.

Comes with a 12 tooth 130mm carbide-tipped blade (No. 971) and carrying case. This blade is compatible with other common groovers, and has trapezoidal teeth which can be resharpened. A heavy grit diamond blade is also sold separately for metal impregnated safety floors (No. 972).
