The groovers precision guide wheels track in the seam to cut a groove for heat welding. Groove starting at the middle of the seam with the front blade, then up close to the wall with the rear blade.

New tool Tuesday
I've used many groupers over the years, hand govers, power Groovers, by far this is the best groover I've ever used. The simplicity it's amazing, no dust no noise.. works far superior than any motorized Groover for a fraction of the price. Very pleased with my purchase, highly recommend this item.
