This revolutionary new groover makes perfect grooves to form outside or inside corners on a wide variety of cove base profiles. The innovative design gives you the ability to quickly groove both toe and toeless cove base profiles with heights ranging from 2-1/2" to 6-1/4". The grooving depth, grooving length, and clamp tightness are all adjustable to allow for maximum precision and guarantee professional results.
- Revolutionary design to groove a 1/8" thick cove base with toe or toeless
- Can groove a cove base with heights between 4" - 6-1/4"
- Can also groove a 2-1/2" height cove base with additional setting and attachments
- With provided nylon pad it can also groove a 4" x. 080" cove base
- 2 tungsten steel blades form a "V" shape at 102° , which covers 99% of outside corners
- Easy to set up and very fast to make perfect grooves

Sensitive and precise
Installing since 1978.
If used properly this tool produces exact perfect outside corners. If your installation business requires excellent results that won’t produce call backs this is the item. Noobs can make nice corners right out of the box. I still remove excess on each side of the groove . My installs average 5-10 churches per year, 5-10 medical offices or business offices and usually a few other sizable installs

Expensive
This is a excellent build quality tool as usual from Dcut. But it doesn't fit well in the world of sq ft price being so cheap to install, you will never have enough money to buy it and if you do, you won't use it as much as you think because it tough to lug around especially doing runner base. Washington state pays .30 ln foot...lol that equals to $36 per box not including 1 tube of base glue and 20% buisness owner taxes from Washington leaving you about $25 per box installed..

Unnecessary, but the design looks quite nice.
Like most novelty flooring tools it could fulfill the purpose of enabling a novice to achieve professional results when professional knifing techniques are not yet honed by The Apprentice. Seems very expensive and probably not as efficient as a journeyman with a utility knife. Would likely eliminate gouge overbite and reduce material waste. One would have to be a lover of gadgetry to be interested in a tool like this.

great tool
This tool is very fast at making outside corners ,very easy to learn,slightly high priced, but if time is valuable to you it's a great investment,the plastic case would be the only up grade I would make to this tool .
