These blades are great. I feel the thinner blades are sharper than the .017 ones, and the tubes are the only way to go.

The BEST blade for trimmers!
These regular blades are only .015 in thickness which is less than the heavy duty blades which are .017. These regular blades are PERFECT for the loop pile trimmer tools because they are thinner (and SHARPER!) and you can actually slide them in and out of the trimmers without using force.

Pretty durable blades, love the 10 pack boxes
These are lightly oiled, pretty sharp and you don't have to mess with the paper sleeves. We use the empty boxes for storing Gundlach concrete bits.
