Solid unit, fairly priced, a little goofy looking
I've been pleasantly surprised with this dust collector. It sucks a LOT of air and the suction holds up well (doesn't clog the filters). Yes, it's a little loud but that's the price you pay for strong suction at a reasonable price (a more expensive unit would be quieter I'm sure). BUT all things considered, I would buy another. The included tools work well too, even if the hose is a little stiff for my liking. I primarily connect it to grinders and drywall sanders. I wish the bags and filters were a little cheaper, but I have yet to have to replace the filter anyway and I suspect it'll be a once-yearly thing.

I suspect they've made some continuous improvements, because the long floor connection tubes are a fine length, the floor brush works well, and I don't see any problems with them like others have complained about. I do notice that the included cord is only 12" long and you need an extension cord (not in love with that). Who wants to bring another cord to the jobsite?

Also, good and bad
The only good part that matters-will suck up dust all day long. I guess that’s why we buy it.

Bad—hose and attachments, useless… buy aftermarket to suit your needs.
Bad,bad,bad.—noise…. This is the loudest tool on any job….louder than a cutoff saw through steel stud. Louder than the grinders it’s supporting. It’s such an awkward high pitched sound that it makes it right through good 3M muffs. That being said, for commercial applications it’s great. Using in a condominium in small rooms where the sound pressure is just bouncing off the walls is brutal. Pretty much can’t use it on half the jobs I’d like to.

Great product
It's dust extractor not a shop vac. I have had this thing well over a year maybe two idk. Haven't change the main filter the hepa most likely needs change aside from that I have tried a couple different extractors. This thing has suction till the end works great. On the other hand my clips are broke I just foil tape the bucket. These things are worthless for vacuuming floors toss the attachments. Just hooked it up to a 10in walk behind worked great. I use this alot at least a 1000lbs plus of concrete dust. I have took it apart blown it out there was no reason to do it the system works cleans the filter great. Anyways just buy it. It makes money the time it takes to clean filter blow them out etc. Waste of time grind till it's full 4000sqft job emptied it 5-6 times full pcd and 40grit grind.

Better than the last guy thinks
Also 5’9” here. AND I had the same issue with the extensions not being long enough for the wide bristle attachment. While it’s not necessary to use the reducing coupler, the extensions will still work perfectly and this provides the extra inches to remain upright.

As far as the other attachments go they could us some modification but that would not render their current design obsolete, I believe they just need supplemental packages for different applications.

It’s a beast. It will do the job and then some.

However with great power comes great responsibility... wear protection.

SAVE YOUR EARS.

And remove the vacuum from the hauler when using it. It’s a lot easier to pull along.

Handles a 7in grinder like Lenny and the farmers wife. Literally almost too strong in some instances.

Good and Bad
First off this Vacuum is an absolute beast. That being said it does have some areas that need improving. I will start off by saying the that vacuum itself is exceptional and very well built. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone in to it. Now on the other hand the hose and attachments are like they were designed in on the Friday before they released the the vacuum. it makes using the vacuum difficult. The Hose has a proprietary connection and the other end is an odd size. it is also very stiff and is difficult to use. you spend the bulk of your time fighting with it to lay flat. Now let's talk about the tubes. The Tubes are nicely constructed and work as advertised but they are just too short. I am not a tall person 5'9" and I have to bend over just to use them. I don't think it would have killed them to make them a couple inches longer. Now let's talk about the attachements. First off you have to use an adaptor just to use them..... Really!? The edging tool works well but is so narrow that it is constantly getting clogged. With the amount of suction this vacuum has it doesn't matter how careful you are it will suck up everything and constantly clog that attachment. The bristle head is just ok. it has wheels under it and between that and the length of the bristles it doesn't work all that well. as of yet I have not figured out a work around for the whole hose situation. But I am sure I will be able to figure it out.. But, and this is a BIG BUT.... When you are spending $1200 on a shop vac you shouldn't have to try and figure anything out. It should be amazing in every aspect. If the hose & attachment situation would have been better thought out by IQ I would have given this an all 5 star review.
