For thicker wood longer pins are supplied with each mini-Ligno. For core readings in lumber from 6/4 on up, we recommend to make a fresh cut to reach the core. If cutting the wood is not feasible, choose the mini-Ligno DX/C to have the option of adding an external probe.

Resolution: 0.1% for values below 10% and 1% steps above 10%
Species Corrections: 20 settings for wood species corrections with chart for domestic and tropical species
