Portamix Twin-Glide Gauge Rake 24"

The Twin-Glide Gauge Rake gives flooring contractors a simple, durable way to control application height on medium-thickness self-levelling underlayments and industrial screeds. At each end of the 24 inch bar is a stainless-steel Glider that presents three distinct wear faces— when one end wears, just loosen the fixing screw, rotate to the next face and keep working. This extends tool life and keeps your pours consistent day after day.

Glider sets (sold separately) are available in six depths (3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm / 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 in.), so you can match the exact specification of cement-based SLUs, polymer-modified smoothing compounds, or epoxy/urethane toppings. The full-width bar distributes material smoothly and resists flexing thanks to heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel. The large and long winged bolts for locking in the Glider set make removing or replacing Gliders simple throughout operation – even when caked in product.
