Rapid Recess Kit for Linear Drain at Back Wall

Rapid Recess subfloor lowering kits - Designed to provide the necessary depth to install a true, zero-entry curbless shower.

The Bracket Kit for Linear Drain at the Back Wall (Model RR25LDK) is used with pre-manufactured or mortar shower pans with a linear drain. One joist bay is recessed 1” below the top of the floor joists to accommodate the depth of the linear drain body. The rest of the shower pan area is recessed 11/16” which is limited by the height of the floor joists. Joist orientation must be considered since the drain body will always be parallel to the joists. Covers 25 square feet or less with the recommended shower pan sizes being 5' x5' or 4' x 6'. Includes metal brackets for lowering plywood floors for a curbless shower.
