Produced of a corrosion resistant alloyed aluminum with an elastomeric-waterproofing and anti-fracture coating combined with an aggregate bonding base. Finished materials, ceramic tile, marble, granite, etc. can be applied immediately after product installation utilizing standard mastics or thin-set. Supplied with wall fasteners which may be used with/without preinstalled wood blocking.

Worked as expected - minor issue with shipping
This was my 3rd install of the shower niche and I installed it with no issues. Had to trim some sealant off one corner as it had a larger than expected glob. One corner was bent from what I assume was from shipping - the package was crumpled and ripped at the seams. I was able to straighten the bend. Overall a good product and the price is fair, and the delivery quick.

Not quite what I desired.
The last one I purchased was molded plastic and did not flange. This was metal and flanged. Much more work to recess and level out.
