The compact, powerful design of the Roberts 10-60 9 in. Flooring Cutter makes this the fastest, most convenient way to cut laminate and engineered wood planks during flooring installation. The heavy duty steel "T" base provides maximum stability while cutting.
The ROBERTS 9 in. Flooring Cutter cuts laminate and engineered wood flooring, carpet tile, vinyl plank flooring, LVP, LVT, and VCT during flooring installation. The heavy duty steel “T" base provides maximum stability while cutting. In addition, this cutter comes complete with a V-support stand and a plank support arm that keeps planks level and minimizes plank movement. Pretty Good. Not perfect, but issues are fixable.
Okay, this thing is tough. It's sold under multiple names. We cut thousands and thousands of planks with ours.
We know this tool inside and out.
First, the blade is indestructible and should not be a concern.
It can easily cut materials up to 7" wide. Beyond that, you'll have trouble doing angled cuts.
The major issues: The fence that you use to make a perpendicular cut bends easily. We modified ours by tapping in bolts into the legs.
Also, the leg in the front gets weak over time because it's only held by
one bolt. We welded ours on and haven't had any trouble.
It's a good product. It's not a great product, but we love it and still use it. Fix these two issues and you may love it too.

Great Product
Great Product,if you want to save time from getting up and down measuring getting back up to re-cut on the chop saw , then this tool is for you .I layed over 500 ft by myself in one weekend and the best part , no dust . the blade did cut one side a little at an angle , but that was the side that goes against the wall . other then that it saved me time with cutting and clean-up, and the floors look Great! I would recommend this product for any do -it yourself-er.

excellent
You will need to get used to how to use the item, forget the little v support and the little arm that comes with the unit. Press firmly down on the left side of the board while cutting to avoid the dreaded angled cut.

OK Tool
The tool does the job it states it does, but there could be improvements. A work table would be nice to hold the piece you are cutting, the fence is not real steady, mark your wood before you cut so you can align the blade to the mark,. For some reason, and I am not sure why, I am getting inconsistent cuts. Sometimes the edges on top are broken back about 1/4". I don't know if I am not holding the piece secure enough or what is happening. I just figure, you get what you pay for and for the price I paid. the tool does the job.
