Aluminum tack strip is perfect for carpet installations where water or termite damage is a risk. 40 ft./carton.
This extremely durable tack strip is made from 100% high strength aluminum to ensure it will not rust or rot. It is the perfect solution for carpet installations in areas where water damage, termite damage or other types of damage to plywood tack strips are risks. Also ideal for high traffic entry ways and doorways where tall pins may extend through the face of the carpet.
- Contains nail holes every 3" for easy nailing, as well as a groove for an adhesive bead if nailing is not feasible
- 1" wide, over 240 pins per 4 foot length
- 1/8" pins (shorter than J-Pin), angled toward the wall for easier hooking and a stronger hold
- Can be installed with any carpet, but is particularly useful with low-pile carpet

Making homes comfortable
We utilize these on stair installs and transitions from carpet to hard surface. This practice has all but eliminated complaints of tack poking feet in these areas. We still use the standard tack at the perimeters of carpeted rooms.

Good Alternative
Good alternative to wood strips in a damp environment. Barbs could be a little longer for better grab. Also needs more surface area on bottom of strip to glue to.
