Does it’s job

My work uses multiple of these samba machines. They work extremely well and does it’s job. However there is one huge flaw, the ball bearing in the handle that releases the off/on trigger always breaks and pops out. The absolute worst design I’ve seen. You would think you could unscrew the handle and put the bearing back in place which you can, but not without everything else in the handle coming apart once it’s split. Our newest one only took one week for the bearing to pop out.

Works great!

I had a Clarke FM1700 that broke so i went shopping for a new sander. The Somba was a little less expensive and is German made so i gave it a try. Ive had it about 4 months and it works great. The best feature is the quick handle release on the handle to raise and lower the handle. No more using your foot to release handle. Very quick and easy. I would recommend to other floor covering professionals.
