Works on the same principle as the #822 clamp but the Deluxe model features all cast aluminum construction which makes it a much more durable clamp because there are no welded parts. The all aluminum construction also allows us to make the clamp bigger but at the same weight as the #822 clamp (1.5 lbs.)
