The super low profile and ultra-narrow handle of this iron make it easier to get the seam together near the back of the iron. Dual indicator lights show both power-on and heating status. A rotating cord assembly with a flexible strain relief extends the cord out of the seam area. Self-cleaning Teflon coated base and 12' long SJO cord are standard. The heavy-duty handle and riveted tray are highly durable. Available in grooved models only. Approximate heat range is 220° - 425° F. 110 volt iron runs at 800 watts.

Very nice iron
Ok guys, this iron is the real deal. I have been installing high end carpet for the last 30 years. This might be the best iron that I have ever owned. I am extremely happy with it. Dont let the 100 dollar price tag make you think it is no good. I use this iron every day over anyone I have. I am very happy with it.

Definitely can burn seams at a lower setting than my other irons .the lower profile is the way to go.
