Only duo fast
Bought mine in 2005 and still works great just the cords sucks already put 3 in at $35 a piece n thats with me replacing it. 2005 paid $125 for it !

Great
I've tried a few other brands. For electric, these are the best. I've been installing for 26+ years and my current duofast tacker is probably 8+ yrs old by now and still going strong. Tip... order the leather guard for the head to prevent marring of walls. It fits perfectly and helps a ton! Also, let it heat up a bit, inside the home, before using. Helps them to last longer.

Nice stapler
Gun has plenty of power to sink staples. I've had several over the years. The cord always twists after a while and the pin holding the trigger in place always ends up falling out. Bought a cheaper Robert's to try out.

Heavy power cord gets twisted and fails too soon.
I have been through a dozen of these through the years as the only option with local suppliers. Repairs are expensive and the common problem is cord issues, and trigger failure. The power cords get twisted soon after a few uses. Pneumatic options are much better but you have the burden of the noise and inconvenience of lugging a compressor around.

Duofast
A great stapler. My dad and I have been using this brand and model stapler for probably 50 years. We have had several because they last a long time. I bought this time because I loaned it to another installer and they lost it. I had that gun for probably 15 years and was still in great condition. Well, it happens.
