The Goof Proof Standard Shower Kit from Mark E. Industries allows you to quickly and easily construct your shower floor with the correct water drainage slope of 1/4" per 12" run. This time-saving kit permits construction of standard 36" x 60" shower areas with a centered drain.

Included with the 3-in-1 Standard Kit is the Pre-Pitch float stick kit which creates the preslope below the liner, the Quick Pitch float stick kit that will create the proper shower floor drainage slope above the liner and two Kirb Perfects for creating a perfect shower curb entrance.

Additional float sticks and extensions are available to accommodate shower sizes up to 12' x 12'.

Great product

The system works great. I agree with other posts that it should come with 8 sticks for the money to cover the quadrants better. I disagree that it cannot be used with a square drain. It works the same with no problems; just did it.

Perfect for DIY'ers and Homeowners

Ggreat product. Any homeowner can make a standard or custom shower pan without having the mess or cost of hotmop. Just make sure you order enough extra sticks if uyou are building a custom size or shape. Would like to have the option of ordering longer curbs, and wider center ring to accomodate square drains. The You Tube installation video is very helpful as well in case you have any reservations or questions about the system

Great Results, but a few drawbacks.

I've used the Goof Proof Shower Kit several times with excellent results. There are a couple drawbacks: The kit comes with 6 pitch sticks. 8 sticks would be better- one for each of four corners, and one for each center of four walls. Although it works great for a round drain, the system won't accommodate a square drain. If the curb is longer than 30", you'll need to purchase more than one curb set. Overall, the system is almost foolproof, easy to cut and install, and makes it easy to correctly pre-pitch and pitch the shower floor.
