For ceramic tile installation work, this set has a heavy duty rectangular construction to make it our straightest and strongest aluminum straight edge set. Both ends of each individual straight edge are plugged with a plastic insert to prevent mortar from weighing down the tool. Clear anodized aluminum construction means this set cannot rust, rot or warp like steel, or wood. Specially designed two-piece carrier is spring loaded and adjustable to provide proper tension so straight edges don't slide during transport. U-shaped design of the carrier bottom means straight edges are easily loaded into the carrier after use. Set consists of five lengths as follows: 6', 4'10", 4', 3' and 2'. Weighs 17 lbs.
