It accurately measures the thickness of the mosaic border so when it's laid in place, it sits perfectly flush to the surrounding ceramic tiles. The adjustable square notch design helps to control depth and the amount of adhesive applied. Use on mosaic borders ranging from 2" to 6-1/4".
