Super useful tool for nailing tack strip into bad concrete
These things are pricey and they are brittle. If you are very careful, they work. You need the accompanying bit holder, which is cheap and you need a hammer drill and you need aluminum nails. Short nails for metals, longer nails for tack strip. If you have that impossible basement, these will the job done. At five bucks apiece, hmmm, should be a bi discount IMO if you buy five or ten. They are small and easy to misplace or lose. Also, you will need a diamond sharpener. They get dull after about fifty holes. A regular knife sharpener will not work.
I wish they were more affordable, but they aren't and I buy them because I need them in certain cases and they work.
