WORKS GREAT ON VERY HARD CONCRETE FLOORS
HAD A VERY LARGE BASEMENT ROOM TO DO WITH CARPET AND PAD. CONCRETE FLOOR WAS LIKE STEEL. CONCRETE NAILS NO MATTER WHAT SIZE WOULD NOT GO INTO THE FLOOR.
HAD TO HAMMER DRILL AND USE THESE ALUMINUM DRIVES TO HOLD TACKLESS TO FLOOR AND THEY DID THE JOB. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

This is the only way to really secure tackstrip and metals on old concrete.
I use acrylic hot glue and MasterWeld 948, but if you really want your tackless and transition metals securely, mechanically attached this is the best stuff ever! Use the solid carbide bits that last a very long time and just pound the square cut nail into the round hole, they stay in place and hold just like you want them to hold, you can use these along with MW948 adhesive to make sure the glue bonds well and you only need to put 2 or 3 in per strip!
