The Raimondi Leveling System makes setting tiles easy, faster and ensures your tiles will be perfectly leveled. The RLS system was developed for both DIY and professional tile layers to overcome the common problem of uneven tiles a.k.a. tile lippage. This innovative system of interlocking heavy duty (HD) clips and wedges ensure your floor will be perfectly level from one tile to the next.

Minimum Required Joint: 1/16" with Clear HD Clips, 1/8" with Red HD Clips, and 3/16" with Grey HD Clips

Tile Thickness: 1/8" to 1/2"

Tile Coverage: Approximately 2 pieces per sq. ft. (12" x 12" and larger)

How to Use the Raimondi Leveling System
1. Spread your adhesive.
2. Insert clip underneath the tiles along the 4 sides. (Larger tiles may require 2 clips per side.)
3. Set your tile and beat with a rubber mallet.
4. Insert wedge into slot at base of clip. Adjustable pliers are recommended.
5. When adhesive sets, separate protrusion using rubber mallet or feet. Beat parallel to the joint.
6. Sweep surface and save reusable wedges.

worked great with large format tiles

I used these wedges with the 1/8" RLS tile clips and pliers tool. Very happy with the way they position and hold 12 x 24 tiles on the same plane.

Wonderful and Easy

I was concerned about putting tile on an uneven surface and I bought these to help. I was quite surprised how well they really worked. I am normally pretty bad at keeping tile flat and even but this time it came out perfect. One side benefit that I didn't expect was that it shortened the installation time considerably.

There are 2 things to be aware of. The first is that as you tighten the wedges thinset can be pulled up in between the posts and you cannot clean it out until the thinset has cured (not a big problem with a rotary tool). Next, as you tighten the wedges the tiles spread apart a bit. Also not a big deal because you can them them back into place with a rubber mallet.

I will use these now on every large format tile project that I have.

I'm hooked!

I just tried these for the first time as a DIYer for our 500 square foot back room. The tiles are 18 x 18 and the concrete floor has flatness issues. Absolutely amazing. Keep your straight edge and/or level if you want to shim the low spots, but all the tiles came together very smoothly without hardly any offset. This system is also much faster in the long run which means less time on your knees. You still have to lift your tiles to check for good thin-set coverage, and be sure to get the pliers to set the wedges to the necessary tightness. Altogether, this system is well worth the money.
