We saw this lifter when we had LVT installed in our lower level. At 70 I really didn't know how I would move heavy appliances on the new floor or our hardwood floor on the main level without scratching. That is until I saw the Air Lifter. It's a little pricy for a homeowner with occasional use but now my wife and I can easily move our heavy appliances for cleaning and such with ease. Couldn’t be happier. Received the order much sooner that I expected. Very satisfied.

I am a retail customer, not a flooring installer. This is not a cheap item, and I'm probably not going to use it more than a few times for as long as I own it, but after damn near breaking my million dollar hands trying to jimmy our 300 pound washing machine on and off 4x6 blocks, I'd just had it. I knew there had to be a better way, and this was it. I could not find this for rent anywhere, but apparently the appliance repair company (a nationally known one) has now equipped their repairmen with these. Had I known! Regardless, the next time the dryer pops off the duct, I won't have to fight this monster nor will I be jeopardizing my life and back moving this. With a bit of effort, I got our washer out of the closet and moved down the hallway for removal. Yay! Waiting for the NEW washer so I can put THAT back in place. This was so totally worth it, and tools4flooring has been just fantastic to deal with. Pretty sure I won't be buying anything else, but this has been an overwhelmingly positive experience and I am thrilled with my new Crain 280 heavy lifter.

Amazing concept and operation. Handle heavy loads with ease without damaging floors or your back. Rug adapters also work on rough surfaces! Only way it could be better is a lower price point.

I install wood floors and I don't know how you can roll a frig over the wood with out making wheel marks. With this tool you never have to worry about that again.

I've been in the flooring business for over 35 yrs and I've seen a lot of tools come and go. This is one of the best tools that I have owned. This is the second Crain air lift that I have owned and I use it almost every day. It is very professional looking and has saved me a lot in floor repairs had I not had it. You can't go wrong with this tool.

moved double stack commercial dryers across new floor, they were too short for these machines, we went sideways for final positioning, they got stuck because we only had 1/4' clearance on some machines, worked good overall, they would work great on normal appliances
