This tool is helpful for making fast 45° cuts in quarter round. The sharp, heavy-duty blade is replaceable.
The Crain 855 Wood Miter makes fast angle cuts in quarter round and eliminates the need for a chop saw. The cutting anvil has guide stops for straight cuts, as well as 22.5° or 45° angles. The 22.5° angle gauge is used to make soft corners, while the 45° angle allows for accurate square corners. The mitering tool features an extra long vinyl-coated handle for maximum leverage and nickel plated steel construction.

Saves time and money.
Simply the best way to cut quarter round, saves a lot of time and effort. No chop saw needed. We trim out the average living room, dining room and hall in less than an hour. Cut nailed and filled. Awesome tool.

This little tool made very quick work of installing quarter round and othe mouldings! Not having to get up and down to use the chop saw was a blessing. Worth every penny!!!

Excellent tool for cutting quarter round
I cut 72 pieces of quarter round and it was an excellent tool that gave precise and clean cuts. Using a mitre saw would take much more time and costs much more if you had to buy one. The only negative was the replaceable blade broke but tools4flooring sent me out a new one promptly. i give high marks to the tool and to the company

Recommend by floor installers. It worked great. We did an entire house and didn’t need the extra blade I ordered. My carpenter with 50 years of experience doesn’t know how he installed quarter round without one.

I wish I had this tool years ago.
I saw this tool recommended on the router forum and I was into veneering at the time so picked one up. It is the slickest tool for cuting out veneer patterns, and small trim. I cut 1/32" and maybe even trim 1/64" off to fit pieces of wood veneer in parquetry. Be fore I fine tuned with a straight edge and super sharp knife, but I would loose probably 30% from the pieces breaking. It cuts square ends plus angles and just snaps them off. I can adjust the angles just a very tiny bit to get a tight fit.
The tool is real quality built tool, the fit and finish is excellent too. I don't mind paying for a tool that works and is such good quality. I have cut p-lam with it too, does a fine job.
