Primatech’s 550ALR Expert Series pneumatic nailer is equipped with a fully adjustable PrimSurfer roller base. This model fully embodies the most advanced technical developments in hardwood flooring installation. The innovative rollers increase speed and precision by allowing you to work without having to lift the tool repeatedly. The dual-action adjustable base enables the installation of a variety of 3/8” to 3/4” solid & engineered flooring - including exotics and some bamboo species - with no shims required. Adjustable front block also allows for ultrafine positioning of the nail. A unique light impact all-around striking cap can be actuated from any angle and it’s compact design allows for fastening close to end walls.

Great gun

Works great. the only thing is I use More cleats it rolls a long so fast and and smooth it’s hard to keep up with and gets a lot closer to wall only took about 100 ft To get to get the Feel of it

Good Product

I have been using a PowerNail and trying to compare that is like comparing two different hammers it's all in the fill. I have only used on one job so far. my crew had some questions and PrimatechCa is very helpful. but when you spend almost $100.00 more for one nailer over another you ask questions. This nailer is lighter and has a lot of advantages you can strike on an angle with hand to nail close to a wall. Try that with the PowerNail. I was very skeptical but if I can get a good deal on the 16 gauge Primatech nailer I would buy. All in all it is a Great Gun Once my crew used the Primatech they wanted that gun biggest reason lighter less fatigue .

Great Nailer

I can't imagine installing hardwood floor or pre-finished hardwood floor without this floor nailer, is just an amazing tool, it will take a bit to figure it out how the tool work after that run smoothly .. you don't even need to hit hard the nailer, never go back to the classic nailers..

Amazing!

I don't know how I installed without this! I couldn't have bought an easier nailer to use. I went from doing 300' a day to 550' a day of nail down hardwood. It's lightweight, compact and only requires a slight tap on the bumper for a successful drive. The only criticism I could offer is that it never came with an owners manual and there are several different Allen wrench nuts but only one size key. All in all definitely worth money and highly recommend it!
