The long slender front guide is beveled at the bottom, making it easy to stay in a row. The tool has a comfortable, attractive plastic handle and is made from stainless steel.

Ok, but…..
This cutter is built solid and does the job, but it is bulkier then it’s predecessor ( manila colored handle) that went by the same model number. The previous model had a longer, narrower nose which performed much better for row cutting tight nap carpets. On behalf of the installation community, PLEASE bring back the old design

best row cutter
This is the best row cutter I have ever used. I’ve had a few different one but this design is very simple and doesn’t fowl up easily.
