This 3/16" (5mm) drill bit is ideal for drilling holes through all types of porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, terra cotta and glass. The high quality diamond construction ensures speed and long life (up to 25 holes or more per bit).
This 100% Italian made diamond drill bit is ideal for drilling holes through all types of porcelain, ceramic, natural stone (granite, marble, slate), terra cotta and glass. This bit requires much less setup than its competitors and can be used in "dry" applications. Only an occasional stop and dip in a cup of water during drilling is necessary to ensure a flawless cut and long bit life (up to 25 holes or more). The manufacturer suggests that the bit be run by a rotary drill (not a hammer-drill) at a minimum speed of 800 rpm. The average drill time is 20 seconds but will vary depending on what thickness material is being drilled.
