Indispensable
When Daniel Bennett invented the first SeamerDownNow! people made fun of it. I tried his idea on my own using my already ventilated weight and my shop vac just to try out the idea. It worked. I posted about my results on installer boards that no longer exist, and that night Charles (Daniel's father) called me at home and offered to send me one. The rest is history. It's such a revolutionary invention. No more waiting on a seam to cool off. It's invaluable for pattern correction. With that tool and a double headed stretcher you can correct stuff that is way out of tolerance and do it on the fly. The material goes from 450 degrees to 140 in the time it takes to pull it an iron length. I can't imagine installing carpet without this tool. It's a major game changer.

Excellent product, excellent service
I love the Seamer Down Now Pro so much that I have purchased three, one for each of my installers. They love it, and it has made quite an impact on the speed at which they now can install as well as the added bonus of flatter seams with much less peaking. Tools 4 Flooring has been great to deal with and each time I have ordered from them, I have received my tools very quickly with no delays.
