It works on vinyl, rubber and hardwood treads with stair widths from 31-1/2" to 53", or up to 81" with one set of No. PL200A Extensions. Fast, accurate and easy to use - pays for itself on the FIRST job. Adjustable stops automatically correct for tread overhang, or nosing thickness, and the locking angled braces give a solid, reliable set. The gauge folds up for easy transport and stores in a clear plastic 3-1/2" diameter x 32" long tube with friction fit end caps.
